Shipping

ODSS ships via USPS standard ground service for most orders. Expediated shipping is also available from Fedex. All rates are in the table following. Most orders are packed and dispatched from our warehouse within 1-2 business days. All expedited orders are dispatched same day if the order is placed by 12 noon EST on a weekday. Saturday delivery is not available for expedited orders. Tracking information is included in your “full ship confirmation email” and is also available in your customer account.

ODSS ships to the 50 United States, Washington DC and Canada. See info for Canadian orders below. We also ship to APO, FPO, and DPO addresses. For these addresses, be sure to use USA as the country code.

ODSS makes every effort to be environmentally conscious in our shipping and packing methods. We do minimize all packing materials wherever possible. There are certain brands we carry who package their goods in boxes. In most cases if the integrity of the item is not compromised, we will remove any excess packaging for such items.

Canadian Orders

7-12 days transit. $30 flat rate fee shipping. Expedited shipping, gift wrap, and reduced threshold or free shipping promotions are not available to the Canadian market currently. ODSS does not pre-pay fees associated with customs duties or border taxes for Canada bound shipments. The customer is responsible for these and any other associated fees and is advised to check current rates before placing any orders. Any returns will be at the customer's expense. Please email us at customer service should you need any assistance placing your order to Canada.

Due to the current administration’s new tariffs on imports from various countries, your order is likely to be affected by increased customs and duties fees.

When goods are shipped from the U.S. to Canada but manufactured in a different country (such as China), you may be required to pay additional tariffs, duties, or taxes to have your package cleared through customs.

The actual tariff rate depends on the product’s classification under the U.S. International Trade Commission (USITC). Different categories of products are taxed at different rates, so the exact amount will vary based on the type of goods being imported.

Important for Canadian Customers:

  • Sales Tax: Canadian customers are also responsible for paying sales tax (GST, HST, or PST) depending on the province or territory of delivery.
  • Tariffs & Duties: Additional tariffs may apply based on the country of manufacture and the product category.
  • These charges are collected by Canadian customs authorities and are not included in your ODSS order total at checkout.

We encourage shoppers to check the import regulations for their specific province to understand any additional fees that may apply.

As stated in our delivery section, all orders are shipped from the United States. If you’re unable to find information about a product’s country of origin, please contact our Customer Service Team for assistance before placing your order.

Please note that if you choose to refuse the package upon import, an administrative fee will be charged along with the standard return shipping fee once your package has been returned to our warehouse. You can find more information about this specific fee in the section "Refused/Uncollected Packages" in our FAQ.

Refused or Uncollected Packages

If a package is refused, uncollected, or returned to us (including cases where the delivery address is incorrect or incomplete), we reserve the right to deduct the administrative and shipping costs that arise.

To avoid additional fees, please accept your delivery and register any return through our online returns portal.

  • The applicable fee will be deducted from your refund using the same payment method used for your order.
  • If the total order value is less than the administrative and shipping fee, the full order value will be charged.
  • For home deliveries, two delivery attempts are normally made. If the shipment is returned after these attempts, the same charges will apply.

We understand that cross-border policies can be confusing — however, these duties are required by Canadian customs regulations, and we unfortunately cannot absorb or waive them.

We appreciate your understanding — this policy helps us maintain fair shipping rates for all customers while complying with international customs rules.
