Description
This is what our friends in Finland call a pedestrian reflector. It measures 2.25"x2". The reflector is a tag that reflects light and helps drivers to see pedestrians in the dark. This reflector features an illustration of a wild goose on both sides. Reflectors became a mid-century Finnish innovation when a farmer named Arvi Lehti developed a reflector that allowed his horse wagon to be seen in the dark more efficiently. Soon his reflectors were in widespread use by pedestrians throughout Finland, and nowadays reflector tags are used and seen everywhere in the dark winter months! Makes an outstanding gift!
- How these work: Attach the reflector prominently to any bag or clothing so that it can swing freely. Drivers may notice you or your child best when you attach the reflector on the side of you closest to the road at about knee height.

Sizing tip: We often use European sizing along with US sizing to help guide you to the right fit. In many cases, if you know your child's height, this actually can help guide you better than age. We did the work for you so you do not have to convert- use this chart to find their height. Outerwear is made to layer over clothes- getting this right should be all the work you need to do. When looking at boots, use current tennis shoe sizing. Boot sizes are in T (Toddler) and Y (Youth)- not by age.
