Outdoor School Shop together with Inside-Outside: Nature-based Educators, co-sponsored a roundtable discussion in early spring 2023 via zoom focused on the key role that the right outerwear plays in guaranteeing an equitable and productive experience for children and teachers in outdoor elementary education. Our goal was to provide a safe and productive open forum for anyone involved in outdoor education to discuss not only the challenges and barriers to getting quality gear for outdoor learning but also, to hear some of the success stories, too.

The roundtable was offered to anyone wanting to participate over two different early evenings in March. Below are some of the great discussion points which were made by our roundtable participants.
