A rain bib is one of the easiest and most practical ways to start building your child’s outdoor gear system. It protects where kids get wet the fastest, including knees, seat, and lower layers, without adding bulk or complication.

In colder months, it layers easily over warm base layers and under jackets, creating a protective barrier that keeps dampness out and warmth in. That extra coverage makes a big difference when kids are kneeling in mud, sitting on wet logs, or spending long stretches close to the ground.
