Shipping
Outdoor School Shop (ODSS) ships most orders via USPS Standard Ground. Expedited shipping is also available via FedEx. Standard ground is a flat rate $5.50 for all orders under $65. Orders above $65 ship free. Expedited rates are based on the delivery option selected and are outlined at checkout.
Most orders are packed and dispatched from our warehouse within 1–2 business days. All expedited orders are dispatched same
day if the order is placed by 1PM EST on a weekday. Saturday delivery is not available for expedited orders. Tracking information is
included in your shipping confirmation email and is also available in your customer account.
ODSS ships to the 50 United States, Washington DC, and Canada. We also ship to APO, FPO, and DPO addresses. For
these addresses, please select USA as the country code at checkout.
ODSS makes every effort to be environmentally conscious in our shipping and packing methods. We minimize packing materials wherever possible. Certain brands we carry package their goods in manufacturer boxes; when item integrity is not compromised, we may remove excess packaging prior to shipment.
Bulkier Items
Some larger or bulkier items require special packaging and handling and ship at a separate fixed rate. These items are not eligible for the standard flat ship rate. Any surcharges will be clearly shown before checkout and called out on the product detail page.
Canadian Orders
Estimated transit time is 7–12 days. A $30 flat-rate standard shipping fee applies to all Canadian orders. Expedited shipping, gift wrap, and free or reduced shipping promotions are not currently available for Canadian orders.
ODSS does not pre-pay customs duties, taxes, or border fees on Canada-bound shipments. Customers are responsible for these charges and are encouraged to review current rates prior to placing an order. Returns for Canadian orders are at the customer’s expense.
Pls. note that if you choose to refuse the package upon import, an admin. fee will be charged along with the standard return shipping fee. You can find more information in our FAQ section.
