My new favorite mitten! Should have got these sooner for kiddo who goes to farm school. They keep his hands not only dry but warm! Would highly recommend.

These fleece-lined rain mittens are extremely large for a three-year-old (I purchased the 2-4 yr old size). If they weren't fleece lined, it would make sense that they are so big, because they'd fit over other mittens, however it would be redundant (and overly warm) to wear these on top of other mittens. I wish I'd just purchased the liners without the fleece. But the quality is good and shipping was quick.

As an outdoor preschool teacher, I bought a couple pairs of these mittens to try out in our classroom. Gloves and mittens are one of the tougher things we get to deal with being outdoors. One of biggest complaints from the kids is that it's hard to do things with thick gloves or mittens on so they take them off and then their hands get cold. These mittens are great because they keep their hands dry and warm but aren't too thick so the kids can grip and play the way they want to. They are well designed, easy to get on the kid’s hands and long enough to go up and over coat sleeves. I bought 2-4 yr and 4-6 yr sizes and they are roomy enough to layer with a thinner glove if you need a little more warmth. I'm seriously considering having these gloves be a requirement on next year’s gear list. A huge bonus is they are made from recycled materials.
