New style this season! Long-sleeved UV top with smart front zipper with chin guard and UPF 50 protection. UPF 50 (Ultraviolet Protection Factor) blocks 98% of the sun's harmful UV rays.This product complies with the EU Directive 2016/425 in accordance with the standard AS/NZS 4399. The UPF rating only applies to the area of skin that is covered. The greater the area covered by the garment, the better the sun protection.
Also, polyester is a hydrophobic fiber which means that water will not be soaked up by the fiber itself. The small spaces between the fibers are what holds the fluid in the fabric. And due to the shape of the polyester fiber it transports fluid, this is called the wicking effect. These two factors combined is what makes the fabric dry quicker.
