Product Description
Striped surf suit with short sleeves and legs, in stretchy recycled fabric with UPF 50 protection. Has extra-soft seams that are gentle on the skin. The neck-to-ankle zipper makes dressing easy, and the chin guard is gentle on the chin and cheeks. UPF 50 (Ultraviolet Protection Factor) blocks 98% of the sun's harmful UV rays. Also, polyester is a hydrophobic fiber which means that water will not be soaked up by the fiber itself. The small spaces between the fibers are what holds the fluid in the fabric. And due to the shape of the polyester fiber it transports fluid, this is called the wicking effect. These two factors combined is what makes the fabric dry quicker.
