What’s the difference between PU rain gear and breathable rain gear?
PU rain gear offers maximum waterproof protection. Breathable jackets are lighter but may not hold up in prolonged rain. PU is best for staying completely dry.

Rain Bibs
We used these on a trip to the Oregon Coast. They kept our kids from getting soaked while exploring tide pools, puddles, and rivers. We did have some wet pants at times, but our kids played very actively in the water and frequently were above their shins in flowing water. Considering that, these bibs did fantastic. They were not nearly as wet as they would have been without them. I would definitely purchase again.

Love them so far!
My son’s been wearing them for forest school for the past couple of weeks and so far, these pants are excellent! They seem comfortable and are actually helping to keep him totally dry underneath. I wish I’d gotten them sooner! If these are as durable as they appear, he’s going to get a lot of use out of them.
He’s generally just starting to fit into a size 5 pants (6-7 shirts), so we ordered size 5 rain bib and it’s perfect, with plenty of room to grow. He’s a solid kid but the chest circumference of the bib leaves plenty of room (and had snaps on either side for a slimmer fit, which is a nice feature).
The bright yellow is great for helping keep tabs on my enthusiastic and fast little one. It does show dirt much more than the dark blue his classmate has, which I hadn’t considered ahead of time and isn’t a big deal to me.
